SUMMARY

As the official payment services provider of the New York Road Runners, Mastercard launched the “50 Years and Running” campaign in support of the TCS New York City Marathon.

With the help of documentary filmmaker and small business champion, Nick Heller, otherwise known as @newyorknico, Mastercard featured three iconic small businesses near the marathon route that overcame obstacles in the face of adversity and provided a priceless impact within their communities.

The ad campaign went live on-air, during and surrounding television coverage of the New York City Marathon, as well as online via Mastercard’s digital and social platforms leading up to and after the event.
