To bolster their ongoing partnership, Mastercard and World Rugby created their "Women in Rugby" global program that aimed to inspire more young women and girls to play and watch the growing sport.

The program launched in celebration of International Day of the Girl with the “Team Powered” marketing campaign and accompanying "Youth Unstoppables" digital content series that highlighted a group of young and inspirational athletes from around the globe who used rugby to overcome their life obstacles - both on and off the pitch.
